Drivers in the capital were treated to some traffic-stopping entertainment with the launch of Dublin's annual Gay Theatre Festival. Performers body-painted in rainbow flag colours worked the Samuel Beckett Bridge like a catwalk to reveal this year's eclectic line up. Around 20 productions will take part in the festival of drama, art and music, with home-grown talent joined by artists and actors from South Africa, Israel, America Holland and Britain.
